106.  Kagome, Miroku, and Sango: A Desperate Situation

Inu-Yasha finds the group in the temple, and tells Renkotsu about Naraku. Inu-Yasha leaves to fight Ginkotsu, and Renkotsu sets the temple on fire. Inu-Yasha realizes it was a trick, finishes off Ginkotsu and heads straight for the temple without paying Renkotsu any mind. Shippou and Kirara have tried to keep everyone alive, but when Inu-Yasha finds them, Shippou is crying and tells him that they aren't breathing.

107.  The First Time We Saw Inuyasha's Tears

Inu-Yasha finds that he has arrived too late to save Kagome, Miroku and Sango, and runs off to vent his anger for a while. Meanwhile, Renkotsu and Jakotsu are busy 'repairing' Ginkotsu. When Inu-Yasha comes back, he holds Kagome tightly and thinks to himself 'I'm sorry', but then Kagome tells Inu-Yasha that she can't breathe. Myouga sucks the poison out and all three wake up. Inu-Yasha turns away from the group, but Shippou goes over and realizes that Inu-Yasha is crying. Inu-Yasha gets angry and with tears in his eyes says that he's not crying, he's just happy that everyone is alive. Later Myouga brings some 'medicine' for the three to drink to get their strength back, and Kouga arrives worried about Kagome. Meanwhile, Kikyou meets up with a kind doctor named Suikotsu, who has a Shikon shard in his neck and gets very weak at the sight of blood.

108.  The Secret of the Unpolluted Aura

Kikyou helps Suikotsu out some in the village. We find that Suikotsu is having nightmares about the Shichinintai. Inu-Yasha and the gang meet up with him and Inu-Yasha attacks him because Suikotsu smells of burial soil and bones, but the kids with Suikotsu stop Inu-Yasha. Later, Renkotsu, Jakotsu and Ginkotsu attack Suikotsu's village, and while Renkotsu keeps Inu-Yasha's group busy, Jakotsu attacks Suikotsu telling him to 'wake up'. Suikotsu is cut by Jakotsu's sword, but then he becomes a completely different person- the person he saw in his dreams.

109.  Approaching the misty Mount Hakurei

Inu-Yasha and Suikotsu fight, and the others become trapped by Renkotsu's flames. However, when Jakotsu tries to kill the children, Suikotsu's head starts to hurt and Jakotsu realizes the doctor personality is trying to come out again. Renkotsu tells Ginkotsu to run over Kikyou, who is still lying unconscious on the ground. Inu-Yasha is unable to get to her in time because of Suikotsu, but Miroku manages to save her. When Inu-Yasha gets Tessaiga back, the Shichinintai retreat. The group realize that Kikyou has to be taken away from the barrier of Mt. Hakurei to recover, and Inu-Yasha carries her into the woods, and the others follow. Kikyou wakes up and tells them that Mount Hakurei is too pure. She also says that she doesn't want to and can't go there, otherwise her souls will get sucked out again. The next day, the group is off again, and Inu-Yasha realizes that Kagome is upset with him, although he doesn't understand why. Miroku tells him to leave her alone for a little bit, but Inu-Yasha demands she tell him what's wrong. They fight, and she tells him 'Sit!' several times. Meanwhile, we see Bankotsu on a cliff overlooking a city, and he says he's finally found it.

110.  The leader of the Shichinintai, Bankotsu, makes his appearance

The episode begins with Bankotsu trying to write a threatening letter atop some cliff, facing a castle on another cliff. Kohaku appears, and announces that he has brought the rest of the Shichinin-tai, who appear riding up on Ginkotsu. Bankotsu gets Renkotsu to write the letter to the castle, explaining that the people there were the ones who decapitated the Shichinin-tai 10 yrs. earlier. Bankotsu explaining to Jakotsu how the castle still has his "baby", the halberd Banryuu. Renkotsu appears with the finished letter, and gives it to Bankotsu who gives it to Kohaku to deliver. We move on to see Inu-Yasha and his group standing near the barrier at Mt. Harukei. Inu-Yasha tries, and fails, to pass through the barrier, as does Miroku, who is actually pulled towards it by Sango and Kagome against his will. The group heads down the mountain to a village, where an old farmer warns them of the commander of the castle’s troops, who has been drafting young people and villagers. The commander himself happens to show up then, and after a near-fight with Inuyasha, says that the group can go. Once he’s gone, the farmer proceeds to explain that that commander was the very one who led the attack against the Shichinin-tai 10 yrs. earlier.Kagome is riding on Inuyasha’s back, with the others on Kirara. She says she senses the Shikon shards up ahead, and Inuyasha says he can smell blood and gunpowder on the wind. They run on, figuring out that the Shichinin-tai must be ahead. Renkotsu is riding by on Ginkotsu, and Suikotsu is outside keeping guard when a “tornado” appears. This is actually Kouga, who asks Bankotsu angrily where Naraku is. Bankotsu doesn’t tell, and Kouga tries to attack them, but is only able to dodge all their attacks. Bankotsu is about to bring the Banryuu down on Kouga, when Inuyasha appears and blocks Bankotsu’s attack, and says that he has found them.

111.  Showdown! Banryuu versus Kaza no Kizu!

Kouga fighting the Shichnintai by himself, as Bankosu was about to kill Kouga, or hurt him very bad, Inuyasha jumps in and blocks the attack. Kouga and Inuyasha have an argument, everyone paried off in a fight, Inuyasha had a short fight with Bankosu, after a while inuyasha used his Kaza no Kizu on the Banryuu (halbert) it dents it. Then Naraku Comes, first apperence in a while, inuyasha kills it, turns out to be a puppet, and Kouga chases the Shinchnintai, Inuyasha and Kagome noticed the different scent. The episode ends with Kanna and Kokohu coming, then Bankosu taking Renkotsu, extra shards he stole from Kagome earlier in the series, and places them in his Banryuu strenghting it.

112.  The barrier of Hijiri Island

Inu-Yasha clashes with Bankotsu on Hijiri Island without being able to use the Wind Scar. Miroku learns that Naraku is using the Great Priest's power to create a barrier around the island weakening Kirara and Shippo, and making Inuyasha unable to use the Wind Scar. Miroku, with help from the town priest's son, manages to destroy the barrier allowing Inuyasha to regain the power of the Wind Scar. However, Bankotsu is still confident in battling Inu-Yasha.

113.  The holy dokko and the secret of the mummy

Using the power of the Shikone shard in his sword, Bankotsu creates a massive lightning attack which does serious damage to everyone but Inu-Yasha. Both continue to engage in battle appearing equal in combat. Suddenly, the item which created the barrier activates itself. It recovers everyone wounded by Bankotsu's attack, but causes the Tetsusaiga to change back to its original form. The item then makes Bankotsu vanish as he later meets up with Kanna and Kohaku. On their quest to find Naraku on Mount Hirakei, the Inu-Yasha gang decide to split up trekking up the mountain.

114.  Kouga makes his Stand

Kouga, Ginta, Hakkaku go to Mt. Hakurei and meet up with some of the the 7 warriors. Kouga fights in a tough battle with them and gets injured alot and is able to hit them a couple of times. Meanwhile, Jakotsu meets up with Sesshomaru and they fight also. Rin and Jaken are with him too, but are staying away from the fighting. Inu-Yasha, with Kagome, Shippo, and Kirara are near Mt. Hakurei also, but then he suddenly smells the wolves scent and blood. He rushes to the scene.

115.  The Swallowed Black Light

Kikyo and Bankotsu run into each other but don’t end up fighting.They talk about Naraku and the Shikon shards. On the mountain,Jakotsu and Sesshomaru starts to fight and Sesshomaru orders Jaken to leave with Rin.Jaken and Rin run across a bridge but gets interrupted by Suikotsu.He wants to get across but Jaken and Rin are in the way so he tries to kill them.Sesshomaru sense this but is busy fighting Jakotsu.Jaken tries to save Rin but ends up burning the bridge and all three fall down.Jakotsu realises that Rin is Sesshomaru weakness so she continues to fight him.Sesshomaru gets his sword back and gives a shot on Jakotsu but only end up hurting her,not killing her.Sesshomaru jumps down where he finds only Jaken,he can no longer smell Rin anymore. Rin wakes up and sees Suikotsu carrying her.She is confused cause he no longer looks like a killer.They end up at the village where he practised medicine(before he turned into the killer),and he introduces Rin to the other children.But this was all deciet and he ends up killing some village-men.Jakotsu shows up and graps Rin.Suikotsu's two personalities start to struggle so Jakotsu takes him back to the mountain.

116.  The Real Face: Exposed

Suikotsu and Jakotsu(with Rin) tries to lure Sesshomaru into the mountain's barrier,thus making Sesshomaru weak.Jaken tells Sesshomaru not to go cause he'll only get weaker,but Sesshomaru wont listen. Meanwhile,Inuyasha carries Kouga on his back to get him in a safe place,like a cave near a river.Inuyasha tells everybody that he only did it cause it would be wrong to let a wounded person fight. On the mountain,Sesshomaru catches up with Suikotsu and Jakotsu.Jakotsu tries to fight Sesshomaru but he's still fast,but gets slower.And this gives Jakotsu advantage.Suikotsu is eager to kill Rin and tells Jakotsu to finish "joker-face" at once.Sesshomaru ends up being in the middle(Suikotsu & Rin behind him,and Jakotsu infront of him).As Jakotsu is waiting for Sesshomaru's attack,Rin yells out for Sesshomaru.This makes him run towards Jakotsu (and Jakotsu is about to strike when..)Sesshomaru suddenly throws his sword backwords(hitting Suikotsu)and even though Sesshomaru is hit by Jakotsu,he manages to cut through Jakotsu's heart.Suikotsu(not dead yet)tries to kill Rin when suddenly Kikyo shoots an arrow into his throuth,leaving the Shikon purified.He then asks Kikyo to take off the Shikon cause he's alredy dead and wants to be in peace.Jakotsu finishes him off and runs away with the Shikon.

117.  Inuyasha Disappears into a River of Flames

Renkotsu has blocked the river in the ravine below and dumped oil into it. Now it is a firey inferno, and the smoke is wafting into the cave, as he tries to smoke them out. Inuyasha gives Kagome his outer kimono because it is very protective against fire. Outside he jumps across to Renkotsu, but get shot point blank with the cannon Renkotsu is holding. He plummets into the flames but Kirara flies out and grabs him. Renkotsu fires another blast into the cave this time and then goes in to claim his the shards in Koga's legs. As he approaches Kouga seems unconcious but springs into action and kicks the cannon away from Renkotsu. As a last resort Renkotsu pulls out two crude sticks of dynamite planning on killing everyone if he can't have the shards for himself. Inuyasha arrives in the cave just in time and drags Renkotsu out of the cave with him. Suddenly the explosion shakes the cave and no sign of Inuyasha or Renkotsu is visible.

118.  The Heart of Mt. Hakurei

Miroku and Sango are deep in Mt. Hakurei when a horde of demons attack inside a cave. Miroku is about to use his Kazaana but notices there are poison bees in the demon mix. During this they notice Kagura is there. Sango is knocked out after get hit with her weapon that reflected from Kagura. Miroku uses his Kazaana to save Sango. He manages to get her back towards the barrier where the demons couldn't enter. Plus, the poison in his body was purified as well. Meanwhile, Kagome is wondering why Sango and Miroku are taking so long. Inuyasha says he is going to find them. Kagome protests, but Inuyasha leaves anyway, telling Kouga to stay to protect Kagome.Inuyasha who can suddenly not move any further into the barrier. Renkotsu appears behind him and begins to fire on him with a small shoulder cannon. Inuyasha jumps further into the barrier to avoid the shot, but is purified to his human form. Later on, Jakotsu joins in on the chase to find Inuyasha, who is moving deeper into the cave. The episode ends with Jakotsu about to attack the human Inuyasha.

119.  A Divine and Malicious Saint

Inuyasha struggles to stay alive with Jakotsu after him. When Miroku and Sango destroy the barrier of the great priest's dead body, Inuyasha regains his demon power and does battle with Jakotsu despite a few hordes of demons. Jakotsu grips him hard in the shirt with his sword on top of his shoulder.inuyasha tells him to just hurry and kill him. Jakotsu then says that out of all the men he killed, he loves inuyasha the most. Inuyasha thens slowly turns back to a half demon again after a swarm of demons came to them and Jakotsu ran for cover.Inuyasha told jakotsu he should have kill him when he was human and takes out Tetsusaiga.Then jakotsu and inuyasha starts to fight again.

120.  Good-Bye! A Requiem for Jakotsu

Jakotsu gets heavily damaged by Inuyasha's Wind Scar. Renkotsu takes Jakotsu's Shikone shard making him die. Bankotsu later finds Renkotsu and rips out all three Shikone shards in his neck annoyed that Renkotsu killed for his own power. Inuyasha is about to head towards an area where Naraku could possibly be, but he gets stopped by Bankotsu. Meanwhile, Kikyo helps the dead soul of the great priest gain peace in his soul.
