1. The Girl Who Overcame Time...and the Boy Who Was Just Overcome

Fifteen year-old Kagome is pulled back into the Age of Warring States by a centipede demon where she meets Inu-Yasha and learns about the Shikon no Tama, or Jewel of Four Souls. Inu-Yasha destroys the demon, but then goes after her because she has the jewel.

2. Seekers of the Scared Jewel

Kagome is kidnapped by a gang of bandits who try to take the Shikon no Tama from her; a crow demon steals the jewel, and Kagome accidently shatters the jewel when she hits it with her arrow.

3. Down the Rabbit Hole and Back Again

Inu-Yasha and Kagome fight and Kagome decides to go home; Yura, an ogress after the jewel, attacks the village as well as Inu-Yasha. Kaede tells Inu-Yasha that Kagome is the only one who can see Yura's hair; however, Kagome is comfortably back home in modern Japan.

4. Yura of The Hair

Inu-Yasha follows Kagome through the well to modern Japan. They go back to the past and fight Yura. They defeat her when Kagome breaks the comb that she kept her soul in.

5. The Fearful Prince, Sesshomaru

Sesshoumaru, Inu-Yasha's half-brother who is full demon, comes after Inu-Yasha in search of their father's grave.

6. An Ominous Demon Blade, Tetsusaiga

Sesshoumaru finds their father's grave in a pearl manifested in Inu-Yasha's eye. In the grave Sesshoumaru finds their father's sword, Tessaiga. Even though neither he nor Inu-Yasha are able to pull it out of its resting place, Kagome does.

7. Clash! Sesshomaru vs. Tetsusaiga!!

Inu-Yasha is finally able to transform Tetsusaiga and defeats Sesshoumaru.

8. A Lord Youkai, Toad!

Inu-Yasha and Kagome meet up with a man by the name of Nobunaga, who is trying to save a princess from her husband who has been taken over by a toad demon.

9. Shippo Appears! The Thunder Brothers, Hiten and Manten

Inu-Yasha and Kagome meet Shippo, a young fox demon who is out for revenge against brothers Hiten and Mantan who killed his father.

10. Clash of the Demon Blades! Raigkijin vs. Tetsusaiga!

Inu-Yasha, Kagome, and Shippo fight against the Thunder brothers (Lightning Beast brothers) and defeat them.

11. Reborn in the present, the cursed Nou-men

An ancient mask with a shard of the jewel is killing people in Kagome's time. She and Inu-Yasha work together to defeat it.

12. Tatarimokke and the Little Evil Spirit

Kagome has to try and save the unsettled spirit of a little girl who died in a fire.

13. The secret of the first day, the black-haired Inuyasha!

Inu-Yasha, Kagome and Shippo help a girl named Nazuna who is attacked by a spider's head demon; Inu-Yasha becomes a full human because of the new moon, and is in serious trouble when he is bitten by leader of the demons. However, when morning comes, he regains his powers and defeats the demons.

14. Stolen Kikyo's Bones

An ogress by the name of Urasue robs Kikyou's grave. Kagome is kidnapped and her soul is used to bring Kikyou back.

15. Miko of sorrow: Kikyo's resurrection

The truth about Inu-Yasha and Kikyou's relationship is revealed. Kagome's soul returns to her body, and Kikyou falls off of a cliff.
